Pick n Pay are again proud sponsors of the Pick n Pay Weekend Argus Rotary Knsyna Cycle Tour and are thrilled to see the event grow into an exciting two day festival of cycling!

This is the 23rd year that the event will take place and with the mountain bike events being held on the Saturday, cyclists can enjoy both the off road and on road routes.

The key attraction to the event is the fact that a great deal of money is raised for both charities and service organizations in Knysna. Pick n Pay have a policy of supporting the communities in which we operate as a way of giving something back to our customers. The values adopted by the organising body of this event, mirror those of Pick n Pay's own values making it a perfect brand fit.

The Cycle Tour has a national appeal to cyclists and their families, many of whom are our shoppers. We support events like these as they not only cater to the needs of the cyclists, but also those of their families right the way down to the tiny tots. With the 15km fun ride and the Children's event, everyone can bring their bike to Knysna and join in the cycling frenzy.

Not only will I be running around the children's route with my children, I will also be riding one of the bigger events on offer. Which one, I have yet to decide!
